k well since every one here doesnt seem to enjoy it. im from canada, almost every kid would dress up in some pretty creative and crazy costumes, almost every house would give something out, it was sa huge party all over the place where there was crazy haunted houses. it was a blast and if you ask anyone from here its got nothing to do with the candy (it was a bit of a bonus) but was just a time run around with friends as a kid. and its not like you went home and stuffed your face full of candy
Aw, I would give up Xmas and keep Halloween a million times over. The candy isn’t the deal, really, it’s the one day to indulge your fantasy of being whatever you’d like…or as macabre as you’d like. I love it.

As a Yank, I can assure you, I hate Wal-Mart as much as the next guy. Didn’t you guys protest? Every now and then that works. It really worked well in Germany.

Actually, due to financial problems, me and my family haven’t celebrated xmas in 6 years now. So, I pretty much have given up xmas!
